Sorry, grml-small 0.1y wasn't even an official devel release and
therefor wasn't adjusted for perfect use with initrd yet.
grml_small_0.1z should do what you want. It includes the latest
grml2hd version as well. Just join the beta-testers to be notified
about new devel releases. (http://grml.org/beta-tester/)
