Well, do you see the green '*' and the '[ ok ]' when booting?

Oh ok, that's the problem. ;-)
Did you deactivate the checkboxes for it in grml2hd?

Make sure all the values are set to 'yes'.
You can take http://grml.org/tmp/autoconfig as a template.
