[issue753] grml 2009.10 fails to boot on some AMD system

grml 2009.10 fails to boot on some AMD systems. Reason not yet known, neither 
failsafe/debug/... nor booting via PXE helps. Needs further investigation.

Reported by Ralf, adding him to the nosy list so he gets notified if any news 
are available.
