[issue284] grml1.0-3 doesn't boot with kvm on amd64

% kvm -cdrom grml_1.0-3.iso
bootloader works but the kernel doesn't boot up properly.
booting halts after the first output line.

grml_1.0.iso works just fine.

% md5sum -c grml_1.0-3.iso.md5
grml_1.0-3.iso: OK
