[issue283] adjust grml-terminalserver for use with live-initramfs

grml-terminalserver needs to be adjusted for use with live-initramfs.

My current initrd for testing is available at http://grml.org/tmp/initrd.gz

It would be fine, if grml-terminalserver could support the "old" behaviour as 
well as the new one, depending what the user uses/wants to use.
