XFS file system.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Then, I did:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>echo disk >/sys/power/state</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The box hibernated.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Then after about 3 minutes (note that I did not as
yet try cutting all power) I turned it back on, and it resumed.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So then, I performed a second test.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I hibernated it again. But this time, (I shut off
the power) (and it should have, retained the information and resumed anyways)
but, it didn't.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>In fact, the machine did not eaven boot up. Took me
thousands of hard-forceful shut-downs and more, before I could get the computer
working properly again.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Note:This all occured under an XFS file
sytem.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So, I've decided not to use that one.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Mikap:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>What file system do you use yourself, and, what
file systems have you tested?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I want someone (if this has never been done) to
test this out by hibernating a system with all the file systems GRML supports,
and in every test shut off all power for about 5 minutes, turn on all power,
turn on the computer, and see if it resumes.</FONT></DIV>

greatful!</FONT></DIV>
