[Grml] installing dhcpcd requires removing grml packages

Hi
I would like to say:
aptitude install dhcpcd
but aptitude wants to remove pump which in turn want to remove :
grml
grml-autoconfig
grml-debugtools
grml-etc
grml-x
grml2hd

This seems like a lot of change. Is it possible to use dhcpcd without 
making grml unstable ?
Also, I was wondering, according to various threads I read, if dhcpcd is 
not superior to pump, so why has it not been selected for the distribution ?
