[Grml] grml normal won't boot up

Hi,

I have a dell dimension8200 with nvidia video card, sound blaster live sound 
card 80gb hard drive, and 512mb of ram. grml won't boot when I put the cd 
in. it acts like it wants to, but then it just hangs. it will boot on my 
wife's computer though. I am blind, so I would like to have software speech 
if possible.
software speech in grml works fine on my wife's computer.
