who she called a "wonderful man" who she loved very much, had
been "terribly unhappy.""I have therefore ended the marriage," she said. "I think
he is too nice to do so. And too nice to trap."She
confirmed that the marriage lasted 16 days and they only lived together
for seven of those days until Christmas Eve."Meanwhile I intend to get
on with being fully me," she continued. "With never an apology for
ANY part if being FULLY ME. No matter what. I am a

my lovely husband to be ok and do not worry about me
as I have had plenty of practice in these matters."The singer divorced

with libertarian leanings, Paul commands strong allegiance from his own supporters
but appears to have little potential to expand his appeal and emerge
as a serious challenger for the nomination.Unlike his rivals and most Republican
voters, he says the federal government should have no authority to ban
abortion. And Paul was alone among the GOP contenders in a recent debate
in saying the United States should not consider preemptive military action to
prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, an issue of significant importance to
Israel. He warned against jumping the gun, adding, "That's how we got
into that useless war in Iraq."Romney, making his second run for the
nomination, has relied on a well-funded and disciplined organization, generally strong debate
performances and deep-pocketed allies to keep his balance as others have risen
to challenge him and fallen back.According to one tally of television advertising

consular officials had the authority to approve travelers based on an application

and facial recognition screening of photographs. The State Department has made moves to
boost its tourist services in recent years, transferring employees from underworked offices
to bustling embassies and consular posts. Many visa processing centers are also
operating under extended hours.Other proposed changes include granting more multi-entry visas and
charging premium fees to tourists who want a visa right away, similar
to the premium passport fee charged to Americans with last-minute passport requests.
The tourism industry also wants more visa processing officers and to allow
travelers to submit applications in their native language."We can't afford to treat

DULUTH, Minn. A man charged with opening fire in a Minnesota
courthouse and wounding two people after being convicted in a sex case
has died at a Duluth hospital.St. Louis County Sheriff Ross Litman tells
the Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/vvfDnf) that Daniel Schlienz fell ill Monday night
and died Tuesday. He says foul play is not suspected as there
were no signs of injuries, either self-inflicted or by someone else. The 42-year-old
Schlienz had been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree premeditated murder. The
criminal complaint says after Schlienz was convicted of criminal sexual conduct, he
retrieved a gun from his vehicle and shot Cook County Attorney Tim
Scannell and Grand Marais resident Gregory Thompson inside the Grand Marais (MUH-ray)
courthouse Dec. 15. Both were hospitalized for five days.

believe I have fulfilled these principles to the best of my ability,"
he wrote.Even being at odds with Democrats, the two-term senator, 70, was
still a desirable body within the caucus, particularly as Democrats face a
serious challenge to their majority in November.Democrats have to hold on to
23 seats this cycle while Republicans defend 10. Republicans only need four
seats to take the majority, and Nebraska's seat now could be a
pick-up for the GOP.Among some of the names offered up on the
Republican side for the seat are state Attorney General Jon Bruning, state
Sen. Deb Fischer and state Treasurer Don Stenberg. Members of the state's
congressional delegation, Reps. Lee Terry and Jeff Fortenberry, could also be tapped
to run.Repeatedly named as a potential challenger to keep the seat for
Democrats is former Sen. Bob Kerrey, who

that five of this year's reporters were for incidents that occurred prior
to military service. The Naval Academy had 22 reported incidents, compared to
11. West Point reported the same number in both years, 10 in
each year.
