hi,
i have news with regards to this overheating bug.
i tried loading the module https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch
this way i can disable the discrete nvidia graphics card and it seems to
prevent the heat problem.
i understand this issues some acpi commands that disables the discrete
nvidia graphics.
however, i'm not sure how save this would be to provide with grml.
my notebook is an Acer TravelMate 5760G with a nvidia geforce GT 540M as
discrete graphics card.
