Marc 'Zugschlus' Haber <mh+bts-grml at zugschlus.de> added the comment:

Hi,

my browser ate the error message I wrote.

When grml is unable to initialize the network (for example, when firmware is
missing), grml runs around in circles indefinetely. So even when debug=1, one
never gets as far as to a debug shell.

It would be good if the number of loops were limited so that one would finally
end up with a debug shell or at last with a more meaningful error message.

Greetings
Marc
