Hi!

Thanks for your feedback.

We don't think it's useful to mount the partition ro vs. rw via a switch, just remount the ISO 
(e.g. "mount -o remount,rw /live/image") to make the partition writable on request.

If that doesn't solve your problem please feel free to reopen this bug report.
