[issue912] bashism in grml-debootstrap/chroot-script

New submission from Christian Hofstaedtler <ch+grmlbts at zeha.at>:

As reported by mueli on IRC, chroot-script has a bashism where it prompts for the
root password. It uses read -s, which is not in dash, which is the default shell
for squeeze installations.
proposed.patch basically is what tg suggested, /should/ work, but I didn't do a
real test.
