JFTR: This issue is related to http://bts.grml.org/grml/issue149 and http://
bts.grml.org/grml/issue813 and http://bts.grml.org/grml/issue628 - I'd like to 
discuss this issue in the next developer meeting/IRC because it needs some 
rework in core parts of the boot process.
