Ok. I was able to test the a daily build (2009-04-02) on my notebook.
And again: booting took exactly 67 secconds!
I also booted Ubuntu 9.04 beta - alternate which did not show such a
delay.

That said I did not test the bootfrom=... bootoption and honestly have
no clue how to use it. Do I have to guess the device where I would
like to start from?
