New submission from Michael Prokop <mika at grml.org>:
Is anyone using / needing linux-wlan-ng at all?
Running on a iwl3945 device:
# ifup wlan0=home
wlanctl-ng: Operation not supported
Failed to enable the device, exitcode= 1 .
run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/linux-wlan-ng-pre-up exited with return
code 1
ioctl[SIOCSIWAUTH]: Operation not supported
WEXT auth param 4 value 0x0 - ioctl[SIOCSIWAUTH]: Operation not supported
WEXT auth param 5 value 0x1 - Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client V3.0.6
[...]
WLAN works fine, though I don't like the warning/error messages in ifup's
output. :)
